1) After the cable fault occurs, first of all, according to the phenomenon and state of the fault, correctly judge the fault type, and timely report to the mine dispatching and mechanical and electrical competent department, organize relevant personnel to deal with it quickly.
2) In case of fire caused by fault of the cable, the power supply of the fault cable should be cut off immediately and the fire fighting and disaster relief should be carried out without loss of time.
When the fire spreads too fast and cannot be extinguished immediately, it shall immediately notify the nearby mining (excavation) area and report to the mine leaders to take further measures to extinguish the fire, or to extinguish the fire according to the mine disaster relief plan.
3) When the ground test method is used to test the faults of underground armored cables, the gas concentration in the air flow of the inlet roadway must be less than 1% before it can be carried out.
For underground mining (excavation) working face, the use of ordinary portable electrical measuring instrument to determine the cable fault, must be checked by the gas inspector gas content, only the gas concentration below 1%, can be used.
4) When the downhole rubber sheath cable fails, it should be analyzed and judged according to the fault phenomenon to determine the fault type and fault point.
When dealing with faults, the faulty cable must be completely separated from other cables for testing and processing.
5) When the switch of the connecting cable trips, the maintenance electrician shall be responsible for finding out the reason, and the gas inspector shall check the gas concentration in the area where the faulty cable is located. Only when the concentration is below 1%, can the detection be carried out.
For the fault cable in the mine with coal (rock) and gas outburst and gas ejection area, it is strictly forbidden to judge the fault and find the fault point by the way of trial transmission.
